This year the Post Office set us the challenge of getting people to post their gifts early: this could help avoid a Christmas rush in branches, whilst ensuring gifts arrived in good time for the big day.
To achieve the challenge, our PR team ran a Christmas campaign spanning two months which consisted of four activations and a reactive communications piece.
In total our Post Office Christmas campaign achieved a huge 850 pieces of coverage with a combined audience reach of 295 million. This included 21 national pieces featuring in The Guardian, BBC News, Daily Telegraph, The Times, Metro, Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Star and I News – alongside regional and consumer coverage that included Evening Standard, Liverpool Echo and Yorkshire Post. We also secured interviews for Post Office spokesperson Laura Joseph on Sky News’ Kay Burley at Breakfast and across BBC Regional Radio.
