New PR Client: Deezer

London-based creative comms agency Red Brick Road will support streaming platform Deezer’s global in-house PR team to promote its new brand identity through corporate and consumer PR.

This strategy will include event planning, press office functions, and developing campaigns to raise awareness in the UK and US.

The account will be lead by Red Brick Road’s PR business director, Katie Rispin.

David Miller, chief executive of Red Brick Road, said: “2024 is a big year for Deezer, and we’re thrilled to work with them at this exciting point in their brand journey.

“The music space is very crowded, but Deezer is on a mission to offer users a richer music experience beyond just streaming, so our job will be to develop brand PR campaigns rooted in audience insight that can change behaviours as well as deliver brand fame.”

Jesper Wendel, head of global communications at Deezer, added: “It’s a pivotal moment for Deezer following last year’s brand repositioning, and we’re looking forward to expanding our presence in UK and US media together with Red Brick Road.

“The team showed a clear understanding of our needs from the start and has already produced impressive results in the first couple of months working together.”

Tech comms agency Gallium Ventures was the incumbent PR agency. PRWeek UK contacted the firm for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
