The Confederation of Passenger Transport has today revealed a refreshed new look that will help the organisation deliver on its values and priorities, which were shaped last year during a consultation with its members.

CPT members were clear that as the organisation representing a dynamic and diverse industry CPT should be ambitious, inclusive and consistently provide a professional service. CPT’s refreshed brand will help communicate these values to members and the outside world and ensure that the industry’s voice is heard clearly.

CPT’s Chief Executive Graham Vidler said:

“Our brand needs to convey our values and the dynamism of the industry we represent.

“Our modernised look reflects our core values; that we are ambitious, we are inclusive, and we always act with professionalism. With this new look we will be able to maintain consistency across our communications, so that people can clearly identify the work of CPT and our members.

“Our new strapline ‘Driving the UK Forward’ shows the scale of our ambition, to champion the benefits delivered by bus and coach for everyone across the UK. It reflects the essential services our members provide for communities across the UK, supporting local economies and keeping the UK moving.”

The new CPT logo is being used for the first time today in the CPT-led campaign, Get Back On Board, the first ever industry-wide TV campaign promoting coach travel.

Creative agency Red Brick Road were appointed to develop the new identity and new strapline after a competitive pitch.
